She lived like she was 50, not 74, and was always on the go in her Echo to visit family, friends, or the weekend market. She made a lot of friends in her lifetime, through her years at Sears, and over two decades on the oncology ward at the IWK. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene and grandson, Cohen; her son, David and his wife Chris and son, Cole. Her sisters, Wilma and Shirley and her brothers, Tommy, Cyril, Bordie, and Roy will miss their big 'Sis'. Fran was predeceased by her husband, David and remained close to his sisters, Janet and Catherine and his brother, Peter and all their children. Fran was good friends with her cousin Gloria and also with Judy, Barbara, Peggy, Shareen, Tina, Lynn, Ruth, and her friends on the muddy island, Barb and Dave Wedge. Fran loved everyone mentioned and also those not. A special thank you to all VON's and Palliative Care workers who made it possible for Mom to remain at home. Predeceased by brothers, Timothy and Rolfe. Beloved husband and friend of Verona for 56 years. Loving father and mentor to Rhys (Sylvia), Lesley (Bruce), Thompson (Barbara) and Diane (Brian). Cherished grandfather to Erin, Tucker, Brynn, Colin and Jenn (Eric). Great-grandfather to Gabrielle. Graduated with Honours RMC (class of 1942), Kings-Dalhousie University, Harvard University, M.I.T. He served with the RCE (overseas) during the Second World War and retired with rank of Major. Our thanks go to the exceptional care received from both doctors and nurses and staff of A2 of Ottawa Civic Hospital as well as the Palliative Care Unit in Arnprior and District Me-morial Hospital. He then went to the various Triple AAA convenience stores around the city including the one in Fall River where he worked until it became a Sobeys Store 14 years ago. Bob loved talking to and tormenting his customers on a regular basis every time the door opened or closed. Bob's final days in the grocery business were at Leo's Supermarket in Lantz, working alongside his good friend, George Maatouk. Bob is survived by his sons, Rob (Lisa Eresume), Derek (Cathy Turple) and daughter, Heidi Beaver (Raymond). He had five grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Devin White, Jessie White, Hamie White, Jordan White and Shia Beaver; step granddaughter, Jessica Greenwood. He is also survived by former wife, Joanne Sim McClare. Bob was predeceased by brothers, Winthrope, Phillip, Kenneth, Locoln, Clifford and Lionel; sisters, Mildred Hines, Pansy Bruce, Lucy Ross, Dorothy White and Verna Lowthers. Verona worked tirelessly for the VON in Hudson, Que. and surrounding areas as well as nursing at the Veterans Hospital in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Que., before moving to Arnprior in the late 70s where she was the Director of Care at the Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior, Ont. for 16 years. She and the family spent many wonderful summers in Green Bay and formed lifetime friendships and memories that still endure. She was a dedicated volunteer for Emmanuel Anglican Church in Arnprior as well as the Opportunity Shop in Arnprior. Born in Noel on December 9, 1929, Art was a son of the late Harry and Madge (Davis) Ettinger. Art was a veteran of the Korean War. Art is survived by his wife, Irene (Perry), of Noel; his son, Bert (Colleen), of Nine Mile River; his grandchildren, Courtney, Ashley, Brad (Miranda); his brothers, Keith, Noel, Vic and Wayne; his sisters, Dot, Doris and Linda; as well as several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A private family committal service will be held on Saturday, July 26, at 11 a.m. in Noel Cemetery, Noel, Rev. Born in Noel on March 21, 1936, Nellie was a daughter of the late Guy and Charlotte (Hennigar) Laffin. Nellie enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting, and was an avid quilter. Nellie is survived by her husband, Perry White, of Kennetcook; her son, Lionel (Kim) White, of Kennetcook; her granddaughter, Cindy White (Chris), of Londonderry; her sisters, Mona Joan Parks of Kingston, and Phyllis McGoogan of Peterborough, Ont ., and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Nellie was predeceased by her sister, Grace Morehouse. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. Born September 2, 1924, in East Noel, she was a daughter of the late Ervin and Viola (Singer) Densmore. Beckie was a devoted daughter, fun-loving sister, loving mother, doting grandmother and cherished friend. She was a community minded person, helping with church suppers, CGIT, etc. She was a member of South Maitland United Church and the UCW. She was a hardworker and an excellent cook, who made everyone feel welcome at her table. Mum loved her flower gardens, playing cards and dancing, but she especially loved her family. She is survived by daughters, Marsha (Darrel) Burgess, Lower Truro; Raylaine (Peter) Lenaghan, Upper Tantallon; son, Norman (Heather) Beattie, Truro; granddaughter, Melissa (Justin) Blaauwendraat; brother, Eldridge (Ruby) Densmore, Bedford; sisters, May Shunamon, Mattie (Eric) Boyd, both of Bedford, and many nieces and nephews. Beckie was predeceased by her loving husband, Doug, of 68 years; brothers, Wilmont Densmore, Dalton Densmore and sister, Velma Mumford.
