SCOTT, Christena M. ? 101, Lower Selma, Hants Co., passed away peacefully at the age of 101 on January 19, 2011, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, where she had been a resident for the last seven years. Born April 21, 1909, in Rawdon Gold Mines, she was a daughter of the late Harden and Annie (O'Neil) Barron. She was a member of Noel United Church, charter and life member of Cobequid Chapter No. 39, Order of the Eastern Star, Maitland. Christena will be
dearly missed by her daughter, Shirley (Gerald) 'Ged' Hen-nigar, Windsor
Forks and grandson, Lawrence 'Laurie' Hennigar, Halifax; sister-in-law,
Freda (Vincent) Ells, Westmount, B.C. and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William
Lawrence Scott (1980); her infant son; brothers, Freeman, Harry; sisters,
Marjorie and Mildred. A memorial service will be held Sun-day, January 23 at
2 p.m. In Noel Unit-ed Church. Interment at a later date in Lower Selma
Cemetery. Family flow-ers only. Donations can be made to No-el United Church
or Friends of Dyke-land, 124 Cottage St., Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 or charity of
