WHITE, Robert Allen 'Bob' ? 67, Fletcher Lake, passed away peacefully in QEII Health Sciences Centre on April 11, 2012. Born in Windsor, he was a son of the late Atwood and Etta (McCulloch) White. Bob began his working career in the grocery business then moved on to Perfection Dairies. He then went to the various Triple AAA convenience stores around the city including the one in Fall River where he worked until it became a Sobeys Store 14 years ago. Bob loved talking to and tormenting his customers on a regular basis every time the door opened or closed. Bob's final days in the grocery business were at Leo's Supermarket in Lantz, working alongside his good friend, George Maatouk. Bob is survived by his sons, Rob (Lisa Eresume), Derek (Cathy Turple) and daughter, Heidi Beaver (Raymond). He had five
grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Devin White, Jessie White, Hamie White, Jordan White and Shia Beaver; step granddaughter, Jessica Greenwood. He is also survived by former wife, Joanne Sim McClare. Bob was predeceased by brothers, Winthrope, Phillip, Kenneth, Locoln, Clifford and Lionel; sisters, Mildred Hines, Pansy Bruce, Lucy Ross, Dorothy White and Verna Lowthers. He has one surviving brother, Maurice (Evelyn). Later on in years he found his
biological sisters, Diane (predeceased), Judy and Gail, whom he enjoyed getting to know. Cremation and service under the care of Donald K. Walker Funeral Directors (902-469-5601). Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 18 at 11 a.m. in St. John's United Church, Hwy. No. 2, Fall River.
