HENNIGAR, Fran 'Frannie'
A grand lady has passed away. 'Frannie' has played her last game of Yahtzee. She passed away at home December 23rd, 2013. She lived like she was 50, not 74, and was always on the go in her Echo to visit family, friends, or the weekend market. She made a lot of friends in her lifetime, through her years at Sears, and over two decades on the oncology ward at the IWK. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene and grandson, Cohen; her son, David and his wife Chris and son, Cole. Her sisters, Wilma and Shirley and her brothers, Tommy, Cyril, Bordie, and Roy will miss their big 'Sis'. Fran was predeceased by her husband, David and remained close to his sisters, Janet and Catherine and his brother, Peter and all their children. Fran was good
friends with her cousin Gloria and also with Judy, Barbara, Peggy, Shareen, Tina, Lynn, Ruth, and her friends on the muddy island, Barb and Dave Wedge. Fran loved everyone mentioned and also those not. A special thank you to all VON's and Palliative Care workers who made it possible for Mom to remain at home. A memorial service will be held in the spring and a notice will be in The Chronicle Herald.
