This website is about the Harvie/Harvey family of Nova Scotia, mainly the tree from James Harvey of Dalrey, Scotland. Most of the information came from the Gedcom file by Leland Harvie of Halifax, N.S.. Intertwined with this is the Densmore family who my Grandfather married into. My grandmother was Celia Ethel Densmore.

James William Harvey and Celia Ethel Densmore had a small farm in Ellershouse, Nova Scotia from which they operated a small general store in the 1920's. They had 10 children, and James William was also a school custodian at the Ellershouse school.
