REYNOLDS (McCulloch), Barbara Alice 'Barb'
Age 71, of Falmouth, Hants Co. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Reynolds on Thursday, June 12, 2014, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in North Noel Road, she was a daughter of the late Graham and Gertrude (Woodworth) McCulloch. Barb is survived by her siblings, Maxine, Abby, Boyd, and Doris. She was predeceased by siblings, Hardy, Junior, Wilton, Hazel, and Marion. She will be forever mis-sed and never forgotten by her lov-ing husband, Oris; children, Duane (Dianne Jacquard), Dev (Denise Hashem), and Val (Russ) Payne. Barb's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, Alex, Matt, Jon, Emily, and Alayna. 'Grammy' would move heaven and earth to do anything for each and every one of them. As an avid walker, she racked up several thousand miles on her sneakers over the last 15 years. In 1995, she retired from Swinamer's Supplies after more than 20 years in the building supplies industry. Her cancer never once had the satisfac-tion of breaking this amazing wom-an's spirit. People with head colds complained more about being sick than Barb. Even in her last days she would rave about how great her hos-pital lunch was or how nice her room was or how good the Tim's coffee was that was brought to her. The nurses marvelled at her positive outlook and chuckled when Barb would ask them 'if there's anything I can get you, just let me know'. She died the way she lived - with laugh-ter, love, and dignity. Special thanks to all of the caregivers of Hants Community Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where a funeral ser-vice celebrating Barb's life will take place 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 16, Pastor Craig Faulkner officiating. Private family interment will take place in Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Falmouth. In lieu of flowers, dona-tions in memory of Barb may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 5826 South St., Halifax, NS B3H 1S6 or a charity of one's choice.
