TAPPEN (Densmore), Ola Irene
Age 70, of Dartmouth, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on March 3rd, 2014, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Noel Shore, she was a daughter of the late Jehu and Frances Densmore. She enjoyed working and singing with her church families, and participating in all activities in which her children and grandchildren were involved. Ola really enjoyed the outdoors; walking and hiking with her four-legged companions and gardening. She is survived by her loving spouse, Doug; son, Rob (Rhonda); sister, Merriel (George) Walsh, Port Hardy, B.C.; sister-in-law, Mildred
Densmore, Truro; grandchildren, Cody, Hanna, and Ryan. She is also survived
by many nieces and nephews. Ola was prede-ceased by son, Scott Douglas;
sister, Doris (George) McClare; brothers, Marvin and Elmer. Cremation has
taken place under the direction of Cole Harbour Funeral Home. No visitation
by request. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 11
a.m., in Iona Presby-terian Church, 90 Lucien Dr., Dartmouth, Rev. Dr.
Cynthia Chenard officiating with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Iona Presbyterian Church.
