  (Research):The Chronicle-Herald, Halifax, obituary published 3 and 4 Oct 1994 LAFFIN, Arthur (Mack) - 67, Moose Brook, Hants County, died October 2, 1994, at home. Born at Moose Brook. He was a son of the late Arthur and Lucy (McCulloch) Laffin. He was a school bus driver for many years. He is survived by his wife, the former Reta Gwendolyn Harvey Densmore; son, Ellis Laurence, Princeport, Colchester County; daughter, Dana and son-in-law Darrell Barron, Kennetcook; Patricia Fern and son-in-law Harold Lake, Moose Brook; two grandsons, Andrew and Philip Laffin, both of Marystown, Nfld.; granddaughter, Selena Marian Lake, Moose Brook; two sisters, Clara (Mrs. Alworth Hines), East Noel; Thelma (Mrs. Bradley Lake), Summerville, Hants County; brother, Eric, Burlington, Ont. She was predeceased by a stillborn grandchild; sister, Mary; three brothers, Gehu, Marsden, one in infancy. Family will receive visitors 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Moose Brook Chapel, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Ronald Frampton officiating. Burial will be in Moose Brook Cemetery under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Moose Brook Cemetery fund.
