Her obituary was published in The Register on 21 Apr 1937 in Berwick, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada.
The death occurred at Waterville, Friday, April 16th of Mrs. Stuart Dalrymple, the same evening that her beloved husband had been tenderly laid away in his last resting place. Critically ill at the time of his passing in Western Kings Memorial Hospital, she was not to endure separation in life and peacefully passed away to join her life-long partner. She had been in failing health for some time, but through it all she bore her affliction with Christian courage and fortitude and was beloved by a host of friends. The late Mrs. Dalrymple, who was sixty-four years of age, was formerly Georgina Pineo, daughter of Mrs. Sarah and the late John Pineo of Waterville.
She is survived, besides her mother, by one son, Fred of Waterville and three daughters, Mrs. John Shiers, Halifax; Miss Ann Dalrymple, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Perry Johnson, Medford, Mass. Three sisters, Mrs. Sterling Mitchell, Waverley, Halifax County; Mrs. Frank Duncanson, Wolfville; Mrs. Will Margeson, Kentville, and four brothers, Edwin, Berwick; Vernon, Waterville and Everett and Fred, Wolfville, also survive. Funeral was held at Waterville on Sunday afternoon, April 18, Dr. S.R. Prince of the United Church, conducted the service. The music included a solo, "Rock of Ages," by Mr. Fred Bennett of Somerset, and the choir sang "Jesus Loves Me," and "Jesus Lover of My Soul." The pall-bearers were Messrs. J.H. Rawding, W.G. Forsythe, F.R. Rachford and Adelbert Strong. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. Interment was in Waterville cemetery.
