ANTHONY (Lake), Marion Grace - 79, Kennetcook, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 17, 2006, with her family at her side. Born December 28, 1926, in Bramber, she was a daughter of the late Eldon and Vera (Sanford) Lake. Marion was a caring mother and grandmother, and a loving wife to the late Douglas Anthony who passed away in 2002. They were both proud members of Kennetcook United Church. Marion will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Marion is survived by her daughters, Linda (Floyd) White and Charlotte (Mac) Harvey, both of Kennetcook; grandchildren, Angela (Charlie) White-MacDonald, Sherri (Tim) Ettinger, Beverly (John) Morash and Christine (Scott) MacKenzie; four great-grandchildren; sister, Eula (Guy) Green, Noel.
Besides her husband, Douglas, Marion was predeceased by sisters, Flora, Inez, Leona; brothers, Marcel, Joe, Lewis, Nathan, and Delbert. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A graveside committal service for both Marion and Douglas will be held at a later date in Kennetcook United Church Cemetery, Kennetcook.
