HINES, Murray Sumner
Age 74 years, of East Noel, Hants Co., passed away on November 24, 2013, in Colchester Regional Hospital. Born in East Noel on February 9th, 1939; he was a son of the late Carl and Freda (Densmore) Hines. He was a retired truck driver. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing ball. He was a real sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling. Murray enjoyed camping at Evangeline Beach, listening to country music, and attending card parties. His greatest love was his grandchildren. Murray was a past volunteer firefighter. Survived by his wife, Sandra (Hilchie) Hines; daughters, Amber Hines of Toronto; Karla Warren (Rob) of Eastern Passage; brother, Eugene (Shirley) Hines of Coburg, Ont.; sisters, Kathleen Casey (Norman) of Upper Rawdon; Judy Huntley (Averett) of Upper Rawdon; Marcia Patterson (Beverly) of East Noel; grandchildren, Daegan Mosher, Rowan Mosher, and Natasha Warren. Predeceased by his sister, Carolyn White. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on December 5, at 2 p.m. from the United Church in Noel. Donations in memory of Murray may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
