In his 81st year, Blair passed away suddenly at his residence in Debert. He is survived by his wife, Odessa; daughter, Sally (Mark) Youmans; stepsons, Chris (Laura) Shearer, Gary and Bill McSween; granddaughter, Shawna; step-grandsons, Josh Shearer, Sebastien "Seb" McSween; sisters, Mavis Brightman, Hazel (Lloyd) Burton, Pauline (Murray) Beattie, Myrna (Leroy) Dingle, Betty (Keith) Roy; brother, Gerald (Shirley) Hennigar; great-grandchildren, Alicia and Elija. He was predeceased by his first wife, Tressa (Hunt) Hennigar; his parents, Nellie and Charles Hennigar; brothers, Vernon and Nelson Hennigar. No visitation by request. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 9, at 11 a.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Rev. Andrew Crowell officiating.
