HENNIGAR, Florence Elizabeth - 87, Upper Rawdon. With great sadness, we announce the passing of Florence Elizabeth Hennigar of Upper Rawdon on August 3, 2007. Born in Gore, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Daisy (Harvey) Blois. She was a member of St. David's ACW, Upper Rawdon, and a former resident of Upper Kennetcook, where she was a member of St. Peter's Guild. She enjoyed a good Scrabble game and keeping up to date on local and world events. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Surviving are sons, Lawrence (Alice), Lower Sackville; L. Blois Hennigar (Beverley), Amherst; daughter, Eileen (Percy) Bond, Upper Rawdon; grandchildren, Craig Hennigar, Richard, Jeffrey and Christopher Bond, Cynthia Roberts, Paula Drouin, Susan Duhamel, Dale Noseworthy; great-grandchildren, Jakob, Dominique, Megan, Alexandra, Bridget, Jillian, Russell, Brittany, Spencer, Lauren, Brooke, and Logan; brothers, Austin and Clyde; sisters, Mary Brown and Ruth Ledwedge. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester; brother, John; sisters, Gladys, Ellen, Shirley, Thelma, and twins in infancy. No visitation by request of the deceased. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Kennetcook, Rev. Gloria McClure-Fraser officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
