HENNIGAR, Victor Johnson (Ret'd Warrant Officer) 73, Hilden, formerly of Lower Selma, passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on May 11, 2013. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Byron and Thelma (Crowe) Hennigar. Victor was in the RCAF and Canadian Armed Forces for 32 years. After retirement he drove a school bus in Maitland. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Noel. He is survived by his wife, Deanna; son, Timothy (Jennifer) Hennigar, Edmonton; daughters, Tannis (Randy) Kokotilo, Mission, B.C.; Tara (Scott) Valentine, Calgary; stepson, Rob (Stephanie) Marcum; stepdaughter, Kim (Frank) Hracek, both of Louisiana; and former wife, Diana (Ogle) Warnock;
grandchildren, Juliana and Hunter Hennigar; step grandchildren, Nick, Camryn, Hillory, Kelsey Hexi and Aidan; brothers, Everett (Susie) Hennigar, Lower Selma; Wayne (Jeanette) Hennigar, Riverview, N.B.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, David in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No
visitation by request. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday in Noel United Church, Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating. Interment in Lower Selma at a later date.
