HENNIGAR, Addison Daniel ? Addison Daniel Hennigar ? East Mountain, passed away peacefully Friday evening, September 25, 2009, in Glades Lodge, Halifax. Born in Upper Kennetcook, he was a son of the late Joel and Christina (Stewart) Hennigar. He was a member of the Valley-Kemptown Fire Brigade.
Addison is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sylvia (Ross); sons, Dale (Lee), Alberta; Stephen (Sharlene), Glenn, all of Kemptown; David, Dartmouth; Darrell (Elaine), Bible Hill; grandchildren, Matthew, Tamara, Adam, Austin; sister, Lillian Langille, Valley; Tamara and Austin's mother, Melody, Hilden; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Elva, Bertha Mae; brothers, Frank, John, Ancel, Ivan; brother-in-law, Elmer Langille.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where the memorial service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, October 3, 2009, Mr. Greg MacDonald officiating. Reception will follow. Private interment in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. Family flowers only. If so desired, donations in Addison's memory to a charity of choice are welcomed.
