WHITE, Arleen Francis ? 61, Minasville, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2011, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, with her family by her side. Born at Noel Road on March 31, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Prescott and Edith (Singer) White. Arleen was employed with Scotia Nursing Home for 25 years. Arleen is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ronald 'Bruce'; her children, Ron, Tammy (Rod) Hamilton and Jeff (Stacey); grandchildren, Brooke, Brittani and Blake Hamilton, Brandon and Alison White; brothers, Perry (Nellie) and Jack (Mary); sisters, Betty White, Madeline (Ken) Spares, Iris Blackmore, Ethel Andrus, Adreau (Wilmont) White and twin sister, Aileen (John) Fortune and sister-in-law, Nora. Arleen was predeceased by brothers, Max, Wilfred and Earlin and sister, Isabelle.
Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A committal service
only will be held Sunday, February 6, at 2 p.m. in J. Wil-son Allen Funeral
Home, Hwy. 354, Kennetcook, Rev. Larry Harrison offi-cating with a reception
to follow in Mi-nasville Community Hall and a pri-vate family interment in
Moosebrook Cemeterey at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in
memory can be made to Moosebrook Cemetery Fund, c/o Roma White, 3195 Hwy.
