  (Research):Chronicle Herald, Halifax, Obituary published Dec 2012. NEIL, Carrie Maxine ?  82, East Noel, passed away peacefully December 4, 2012 in The Mira, Truro. Born in East Noel, she was a daughter of the late Maxwell and Mary Densmore. Carrie enjoyed music and dance, especially the Minasville Jam. Family meant everything to Carrie. She is survived by sons, Donald, East Noel; David (Becky), Gormanville; daughters, June (Jordan) Zwicker, Mill Village, Queens Co.; Patricia (James) Eddy, Noel Shore; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Eleanor (Chuck) Trenholm, Avondale; brothers, Clarence Densmore, Ontario; Aubrey (Bertha) Densmore, Elmsdale; Guy Densmore, East Noel; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Garfield; sisters, Edna Smith, Almina Neil, Audrey Murphy, Madeline Hamilton, Mildred Densmore; nephews, Norman Smith, Robert Smith and Daniel Hamilton. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday with funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, both in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Natalie Buchanan - Rutherford officiating.
