GREEN, Matthew Jeremy ? 20, Upper Kennetcook, passed away on September 25, 2009, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Truro, he was a son of Phillip and Anne (Burton) Green. Matthew was a gradutate of Hants North Rural High School. He worked in the blueberry fields for his Dad driving tractor. Matt really enjoyed playing poker as well as going for wings on Thursday night with the guys. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Besides his parents, Matthew is survived by his sister, Shannon at home; paternal grandmother, Minnie Green, North Noel Road; maternal grandmother, Hazel Burton, Latties Brook; as well as a large extended family and close friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Wilfred Green, and maternal grandfather Lloyd Burton. Cremation has taken place with visitation today from 6-8 p.m. and memorial service Tuesday September 29 at 2:30 p.m. both in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 354, Kennetcook, Rev. Beverly DeVough officating followed by a private family burial in St. John The Baptist Anglican Cemetery, Latties Brook. Family flowers only.
