McCULLOCH, Nettie Marie ? 88, Kennetcook, passed away peacefully, at home, on Monday, December 28, 2009. Born in North Noel Road, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Essie (Harvie) White. Nettie's family was the love of her life. She enjoyed family get-togethers with music and a big home cooked meal. She enjoyed going for drives with her son, John. She was an avid bingo player and a member of St. James Presbyterian Church, Noel Road. Nettie was a friend to all who knew her and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters, Janice (Garth) Harvie, East Gore; Treva (Donnie) Huntley, Moosebrook; Leila (Garnet) Beckman, Bass River; sons, Perry (Theresa), Milford; Angus (Bonnie), Upper Kennetcook; Floyd (Jacelyn), East Noel; Glendon (Yvonne), North Noel Road and John at home; 19 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; sister, Hilda White; brothers, Murray (Dorothy) and Aubrey (Rowena), all of North Noel Road. Nettie was predeceased by her husband, Orin (1993); sons, Wendell (1986), Gilmore (1973) and two sons in infancy; sisters, Edith, Mary, Letitia, Olive, Greta and brother Burton. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. and funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., both in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy 354 Kennetcook. Rev. Angus R. MacDonald officiating with burial in St. James Presbyterian Cemetery, Noel Road.
