Notes - The following is from his obit in a Portland, Maine paper: He was born in Hants County, Nova Scotia, the son of William and Mary Jane (Laffin) Hennigar. A carpenter, he came to Portland (Maine) as a young man and worked for several contractors in this area. During World War 2 he worked for the New England Shipbuilding Corporation. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and the Masons, Hiram Lodge of South Portland.
