Gillian Funeral Home for Mrs. Idella Blanche Walker SMITH, 52, who passed away in Mobile Alabama on Sat. Jan. 6th.  Rev. Horace Freeman, pastor of the Roseburg Methodist Church officiated at the services. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Yale. Mrs. SMITH was born in Mosherville, N.S. on Jan. 4, 1910 daughter of John and Charlotte WALKER.  She and Russell V. Smith were married in 1928 in Detroit.  She was a member of Yale Rebekah Lodge No. 234 and Martha Berry Chapter, O.E.S. Warner Robbins, Georgia. Surviving besides her husband is her daughter Mrs. Charlotte Thompson of Roseville and her son Wm. H. Smith, Yale, three grandchildren James, William L. and Nancy Smith of Yale, one sister Mrs. Arthur Burns of Fairview, N.S. two brothers Charles Walker, Mosherville, N.S. and Joseph Walker of Dearborn, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Robert Walker, Fred Walker, Dennis Hickey, Stanley Winter, Charles Stanley and Max Graves.
